Overview

Naylor Association Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivational Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 sales representatives focused on new business development within our Careers Division, targeting employers with potential for our Association partners.

 

This role is ideal for a people-first sales leader who is passionate about growing talent, building winning sales habits, and helping reps reach their full potential. In addition to driving new revenue, your primary focus will be to train, mentor, and elevate your team, ensuring they have the tools, skills, and support to exceed performance goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, product, and operations to ensure your team is aligned, energized, and executing at a high level.

Responsibilities

Team Development & Coaching

  • Serve as a hands-on coachfor a team of 10 sales reps, providing regular training, mentoring, and skill development tailored to each rep’s experience and performance level.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and call coaching sessions with a focus on improving discovery, consultative selling, and closing effectiveness.
  • Build and manage structured onboarding programs for new hires and continuous learning plans for tenured reps.
  • Create a positive, high-accountability team culture where reps are supported, challenged, and celebrated.

Sales Leadership

  • Set and communicate clear team goals, expectations, and activity benchmarks.
  • Lead by example by engaging directly in high-value deals and modeling best-in-class sales behaviors.
  • Analyze performance data and provide timely feedback, coaching plans, and improvement strategies to keep reps on track.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for healthcare associations within the Careers Division, aligning team resources to the most promising opportunities.
  • Support team members in tailoring recruitment advertising and career center solutions.
  • Partner with marketing and enablement to develop content, messaging, and campaigns that support team prospecting and outreach efforts.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure accurate CRM (Salesforce) usage, forecasting, and reporting across the team.
  • Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, and KPIs to identify coaching opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide senior leadership with regular updates on team performance, challenges, and market feedback.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales with at least 2 years in a leadership, coaching, or training role. Experience with job boards, digital advertising, SaaS, or the association space is a strong advantage.
  • Coaching Mindset: Demonstrated success in developing underperformers, upskilling mid-level performers, and maximizing high achievers.
  • Leadership Style: Empathetic, patient, yet performance driven. Able to adapt coaching to different learning styles and experience levels.
  • Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of consultative selling, discovery, solution alignment, and pipeline management.
  • Tech Savvy: Skilled in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), sales enablement tools, and virtual selling platforms.
  • Industry Awareness: Familiarity with the challenges and goals of associations, especially in healthcare, is a plus.
