The Content Marketing Specialist will develop and execute content strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across various digital channels. They will create compelling and relevant content tailored to target audiences, including web-based media kits, surveys, social media posts, cross-promo ads, show collateral, landing pages, and more! Responsibilities also include content planning, creation, distribution, promotion, and performance analysis. 

Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute content strategies aligned with project objectives and target audience needs.
    • Create high-quality, engaging content across multiple formats and channels, including but not limited to:  
      • Conduct readership and advertiser surveys to gather insights and feedback for content optimization and audience targeting.  
      • Craft social media posts tailored for association clients to promote projects and drive engagement.  
      • Design and implement cross-promo ads to promote traffic and advertising opportunities within association projects. 
      • Build landing pages to track conversions and drive campaign lead engagement. 
      • Brainstorm and create show collateral that promotes various association projects. 
    • Conduct keyword research and optimize content for search engine visibility. 
    • Monitor content performance metrics and use data insights to optimize strategy and tactics. 
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, designers, and agencies. 
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content marketing.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. 
    • Proven experience in content marketing strategy development and execution. 
    • Strong writing and editorial skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and messages. 
    • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques. 
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and measure content performance. 
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills 
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
