We are seeking an experienced and dynamic B2B Revenue Leader with a strong focus on sales management and overall revenue performance for a suite of media, software and platform solutions provided to professional and trade association partners.  In this role, you will oversee a team of 10-15 and a business line in which we monetize and grow digital media products, magazines, websites, newsletters, tradeshows, conferences, and software solutions.  The main drivers of success are top and bottom-line performance through effective sales strategies, collaborating with multiple support teams and directly with advertising customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of successfully managing sales within the B2B media landscape.

Responsibilities

    • Overall responsibility for media projects from kickoff process to ongoing optimized revenue, budget attainment, marketing support and strategic growth.
      • The priority is budget/target achievement and maintaining project schedules.
    • Project ownership in partnership with Account Managers including managing to agreed P&Ls.
    • Accurate real-time project forecasting based on sales activity, pipeline and metrics performance via Salesforce and all Naylor data tracking platforms.
    • Direct management of assigned sales reps including:
      • Day-to-day sales management via structure, support, scrutiny and 1:1 meetings
      • Quota/pipeline/CRM management for productivity and accurate team forecasting
      • Coach, train and review on day-to-day performance, behavior, and success
      • Extensive regular customer contact and tandem sales presence in-market
    • When applicable, provide vertical expertise internally, in-market and with our partnership growth team to expand or add adjacent partners​.
    • Regular and as-needed association revenue progress reports, activity, and pipeline reporting.
    • Association partner meetings at a reasonable cadence, in partnership with association Account Managers.
    • Collaborate and partner with our talented support departments including:
      • Sales marketing
      • Revenue Operations
      • Directors of Partner Development
      • Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA)
      • Project Managers, CSMs
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform content and sales strategy.
    • Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of sales initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize and enhance future strategies.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Proven experience in a senior role within a B2B media environment, with a focus on sales management, activity oversight, customer contact and forecasting accurately.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Understanding of digital media trends and emerging technologies including programmatic, retargeting, ABM and sequential marketing.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing teams and partnering with multiple departments.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals.
