Marketing and Research Internship

The Marketing and Research Internship provides the opportunity for students to gain knowledge and experience working with Naylor Association Solutions, North America’s leading provider of business-to-business media solutions for trade and professional associations.


Interns will work directly with the Marketing & Research department to support their efforts related to promoting clients’ media. This will be done through researching industry information, developing and executing email campaigns, writing social media posts, editing media guides and more. The goal of this program is to give the intern relevant marketing experience so that he or she can compete in the current employment climate while supporting the Naylor Marketing team. This is a paid internship with a two semester minimum preferred and 20 hours a week required.

  • Evaluating and identifying areas of promotion of assigned industry publications
  • Researching assigned industry for information relevant to business to business advertising and association advertising
  • Developing promotional email and social media campaigns to drive traffic and ad sales for clients
  • Designing and writing strong ad copy and for internal cross-promotional ads
  • Identifying business categories within assigned industry that can be targeted for advertising
  • Making suggestions on how we can improve our Naylor product offerings within assigned industry
  • Working with the marketing team across all branches for various promotional tasks


  • Students entering sophomore or junior year are preferred. Seniors may also apply
  • Marketing or Communications majors are preferred
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA and able to commit 15 hours per week
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Design knowledge with regards to email, print ads and collateral material preferred
  • Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat preferred
  • Ability to work with a dynamic team in order to meet tight deadlines
  • A good understanding of the range of social media available and how to use them for promotional purposes
