  • Overview

     WJ Weiser & Associates, one of the country’s premier medical association management company, is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Industry Relations department. Must be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook. We are looking for someone sales motivated, enjoys helping customers, and are looking to grow with a great company.


    • Marketing exhibits, sponsorships and corporate memberships to existing and potential vendors.
    • Identify and request corporate support from pharmaceutical and medical device companies to fund medical association clients meetings, programs and activities.
    • Initiates calls to vendors that have provided sponsorships in the past but have not renewed their sponsorships.
    • Converts telephone inquiries into opportunities, and influences customers to buy or renew sponsorships.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors. Ensure and coordinate appropriate exposure for corporate sponsorships. 
    • Resolves customer inquiries through consistent use of standard work processes and best-known methods.
    • Demonstrates skill, expertise, and capability in the use of standardized work processes to resolve customer issues.
    • Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement.
    • Actively seeks, documents, and communicates better-known methods that would improve productivity and enhance customer relationships.
    • Additional responsibilities including recording and tracking leads and payments, and general administration related to the sale.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelors in Communication or Marketing or related area
    • 1+ years of related experience in marketing and/or sales or other related positions
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Competent skills in e-communications and in using Microsoft Office
    • Association experience is a plus 
    • Ability to Travel (10-20%)
