  • Overview

    The Sales and Marketing Operations Specialist provides operational support for the business development, marketing and client management teams of Naylor Association Solutions, North America’s leading provider of integrated communications, non-dues revenue, career, event management and AMS services for trade and professional associations. This role combines marketing automation, CRM and lead management across all lines of business and provides key stakeholders with the analysis necessary in order to move the business forward.  The right candidate will be equal parts reflective, analytical, strategic, results-oriented and creative. The Sales & Marketing Operations Specialist will work directly with internal teams to support their efforts related to lead generation, database marketing, client marketing and sales and marketing reporting.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve the role of analyst of CRM and Marketing data for our sales and marketing teams on an on a regular and ad hoc basis
    • Oversee the management and processing of inbound leads from multiple sources and ensure that they are assigned and managed appropriately
    • Provide first-level CRM and Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) support for sales and marketing team members. This includes working with the training and development team to coordinate onboarding of new hires and continuous improvement training.
    • Develop an understanding of Naylor’s sales cycle with an eye towards continuous improvement to ensure that the CRM best practices are implemented and adhered
    • Utilize our BI tool, Domo, to develop dashboards to provide insight to our online marketing and event marketing activities and their success
    • Evaluate our existing sales process and provide an analysis of the KPI’s with which we measure our sales efforts
    • Oversee the import of new data into the CRM system as well as the maintenance of database integrity
    • Management of inbound lead sources within CRM and MAP to ensure that marketing programs are properly attributed to our sales efforts
    • Implement and maintain corporate marketing campaigns initiatives focused on cross-selling and add-on sales

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and time-management skills; ability to oversee multiple projects at one time.
    • Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and proficiency in conducting Internet searches with a variety of search engines.
    • Experience as a power user working in CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.com as well as Marketing Automation platforms such as Eloqua or Marketo.
    • Proven ability to utilize BI Tools such as Tableau or Domo to visualize and perform analysis on sales and marketing efforts
    • Experience with SQL/MySQL is a strong plus
    • Ability to conduct self according to Naylor’s operating values, which include operating with honesty and integrity, and in a spirit of teamwork and respect
    • Proficiency with current web and email marketing programming languages preferred, i.e. HTML, HTML5, and CSS
    • Possess proven and demonstrated verbal communication skills, including clear verbal articulation capabilities in all client interactions. Must be able to successfully interact with all levels of people in an organization and provide training in both a one on one setting as well as in a group setting.
