  • Overview

    We are looking for an experienced marketing manager to develop and manage marketing programs for the company’s SaaS solutions. The marketing manager is responsible for developing market awareness within target segments and ultimately driving revenue for their solution set. This is a highly visible role that requires strategizing with senior executives within the Company’s marketing, account management and sales organizations to achieve business objectives, support lead acquisition, deliver a positive customer experience, execute business development, provide sales support, and advance brand building.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop product-specific marketing plans for all assigned products. Coordinate marketing campaigns with lead generation team to ensure lead goals are achieved to support attainment of sales goals. Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
    • Populate a master calendar for all product marketing activity including email, advertising and promotion of content such as eBooks, case studies, webinars, infographics etc.
    • Work in tandem with the sales team to develop marketing strategies and tactics to facilitate product success. Ensure the sales team has all the selling tools they need to be successful -- determine if product, message or material adjustments need to be made.
    • Ensure processes and procedures are in place and optimized for effective implementations when launching new products or services. Establish and maintain oneself as a knowledge leader and subject matter expert on each of the identified products.
    • Create and maintain competitor briefs on all key competitors to give the sales team the tools and understanding of how to position Naylor against the competition.
    • Develop marketing tools for sales teams to encourage existing association clients to consider buying additional products and services of the Naylor family (cross-selling).
    • Assist director of marketing with overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
    • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
    • Assist with developing the SaaS solution’s marketing budget and responsible for overseeing it.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferably in Marketing, Business Management or similar.
    • Five to seven years of experience in marketing, product marketing, and/or communications with exposure to digital and direct response marketing. Experience positioning software products a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
    • Positive, energetic, creative thinker.
    • Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages. Must have solid demonstrated writing skills; particularly must be able to write effective, professional e-mails and other forms of written business communications.
    • Must possess excellent skills in the area of analyzing and evaluating data and information to guide marketing and sales strategies, communication and product direction.
    • Must have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Eloqua and Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus.
    • Must have demonstrated expertise in lead generation through online marketing programs.
