  • Overview

    The Director of Programmatic Revenue Operations will oversee and manage a newly created revenue operations department consisting of programmatic sales, programmatic operations and ad operations for Naylor. This resource will help build and lead a programmatic sales and marketing team to generate revenue and manage relationships with agencies, advertisers, and trading desks.

     

     

    The Director of Programmatic Revenue Operations will oversee the AdOps resource to ensure timely creation and execution of all digital direct ad sales as well as the programmatic operations resource responsible for managing private marketplace campaigns and demand source relationships. They will act as a resource to create ad strategies and constantly work with the Ad Ops Manager to optimize and increase revenue programmatically. The Director of Programmatic Revenue Operations will report to the VP of Digital Operations and Development. 

    Responsibilities

    • To oversee the management and overall QA process for programmatic ads across Naylor properties.
    • To oversee direct campaigns and all ad operations duties.
    • To oversee and build up advertising channels across the Naylor properties.
    • To utilize the digital advertising and programmatic teams to keep Naylor advertising inventory up to date and in line with industry trends.
    • Oversee standardization of programmatic ad products across Naylor web platforms.
    • Oversee the monitoring and analysis of all campaigns to insure campaign goals are met including start and end dates, impression delivery, and any associated actions.
    • Communicate and compile forecasting to upper management.
    • To oversee the creation of standardized reporting templates for direct and programmatic revenue.
    • Support sales by providing reporting on advanced campaign metrics.
    • Monitoring of available inventory levels and providing availability forecasting to sales staff.
    • Oversee monthly reconciliation and invoicing for all campaigns
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as account management, sales, development/technology teams revenue analytics.
    • QA ad functionality for Naylor websites, apps, and other content distribution platforms.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
    • Minimum 5-7 years ad sales experience (at least 3 selling or buying programmatic ads).
    • 3 years ad operations experience with DoubleClick for Publishers preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years experience managing direct advertising campaigns.
    • Complete understanding of programmatic in all its forms.
    • Proven track record of delivering increased yield on indirect inventory.
    • Expert understanding of the headerbidding and programmatic landscape.
    • Understanding of web architecture and digital advertising processes.
    • Knowledge of digital media ad technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, 3rd party ad tags, etc.).
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong quantitative analysis and creative problem solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to multitask in a deadline driven environment.
    • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc…)
